Green Point:

The trendy area of Green Point is perfectly situated in that it falls between the city centre, Mouille Point and Sea Point and offers visitors easy access to anything and everything that Cape Town has to offer.  Green Point faces the newly built Green Point Stadium square on and this has sparked much interest in this neighbourhood with fantastic restaurants bars and cafes lining the streets and there is a real sense of anticipation of the coming world cup, as Green Point literally has front row seats!

With the backdrop of Table Mountain and the stadium and harbour to its foreground, you are perfectly nestled in this area that provides you everything from entertainment to simple relaxation, sidewalk cappuccino to fine wine and dining or a simple late afternoon stroll for some Italian ice cream.

Africa’s premier shopping centre, the V&A Waterfront is also within walking distance and a world of top local and designer brands await as well as boat trips and excellent outside and inside dining venues.

Sea Point:

Sea Point’s hustle and bustle reminds one of city life however the smell of the sea breeze and seagulls flying overhead remind you that one road down and you are literally on the beachfront.  The ever popular Sea Point Promenade stretches along this beachfront and this is where everyone comes to take a break from their hectic day.  You will find everyone, from a casual stroller and rollerblader to hardcore runner, exercising and stretching those muscles on the 5km stretch alongside the sea.  This area offers fantastic family time as there are playgrounds as well as games of soccer and rugby happening on the grass section.  Sea Point’s main road is extremely cosmopolitan and offers everything from Woolworth’s stores to Chinese shops to Laundromats, bars, pubs and internet cafes, all intertwined and meaning that a stay in this area is never short of exciting.

Mouille Point:

Also known as the Platinum Mile due to its prestigious beachfront setting and beautiful apartment blocks that offer never ending ocean views with Robben Island on the horizon.  The fresh sea breeze is a godsend on a hot summer day and this together with the calm and quiet neighbourhood means it is perfect for reflection and true relaxation.  Sea Points promenade runs all the way through Mouille Point and allows one to stretch those legs and simply choose a direction, left to Sea Point or right to the V&A Waterfront which incidentally is only a 10min walk away.  The large Green Point Stadium towers in the background as you realise that closer than this you will not get.  World Cup 2010, here we go!
